Betsy Ross's Grave

Grave of Betsy Ross (1752-1836). Betsy Ross has gained legendary status for the story of her role as a seamstress in the creation of the Flag of the United States. Born to a devout Quaker family, she learned the seamstress and upholstery trade as a young woman, and opened up her own seamstress business, which she successfully conducted through most of her adult life.
