Frick's Lock
Frick's Lock is an abandoned village, along the also abandoned Schuylkill Canal. This 18-acre, 18th-century village was abandoned in the late 1990's with the construction of the Limerick Nuclear Power Plant. Since 2003, the land has been listed as a historic district by the National Register of Historic Places in 2003. Located on private property, construction and repairs have begun to turn Frick's Lock into a historical site and tourist attraction.
