This "Home Museum" contains the original furnishings and artifacts from philanthropist and banker Stephen Girard's townhome. It is Philadelphia's greatest intact single-owner collection from the early national period. The items in the collection range in time period from 1780 to 1830, and include furniture, silver, paintings, ceramics and textiles owned and used by Stephen Girard in his home.
