John Coltrane House

John Coltrane House

This National Historic Landmark is the former house of American saxophonist and jazz pioneer John Coltrane from 1952 until 1958. The home also has architectural significance as an example of a middle-class rowhouse from the turn of the 20th century. While not open to the public, ongoing efforts are being made to turn the home into a museum.
