Franklin Field
Franklin Field is a 70,000-seat football stadium and venue for the Penn Relays track and field event. Located on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania, it is the oldest two-tiered stadium in the nation, and at one time, served as host to the Army-Navy games and the Philadelphia Eagles. Deemed by the NCAA as the oldest stadium still operating for football, it was the site of the nation's first scoreboard in 1895, the nation's first stadium with an upper deck of seats in 1922, and was the site of the first radio and televsion broadcasts of a football game.
