Since 1953, Roadside America has been one of the most iconic roadside attractions in the country. Spanning 6,000 square feet and depicting over 200 years of American history, stepping through the doors of Roadside America is like stepping back through time. Coined "the world's greatest indoor miniature village", Roadside America is a completed piece of artwork created by one man over his entire lifetime. A five minute "Night Time Pageant" show demonstrates nightfall over the miniature world. The overhead lights come down, the moon and stars come out, and street lamps replace house lights as the village's tiny inhabitants go to sleep.
