While the city of Philadelphia cannot claim any amusements parks of its own, there are still many nearby and drivable options to choose from.  These theme parks offer roller coasters, children's rides, haunted houses, water rides, and ferris wheels ... and don't forget the popcorn, ice cream, and funnel cake.
